Checking in :)

Just a quick post to let you know, I'm busily hooking away on my rug that was posted as an unhooked pattern a few posts back. The videos are so good, don't want them to get buried. If you are a beginner, and have a question, post a comment. For now, I'll be back when the weather gets cooler, and more people are back online! :) Haven't forgotten about you! Cotton Eyed Jo

How much money does it cost to buy one of those wooden looms or racks that you need for hooking?

Rug Frame

Prices for a frame can vary greatly. I'm going to do a Google search for rug frame and post several links. This is not an endorsement of a particular vendor, rather informational so you can compare prices.

http://www.johnscaboodle.com/store-categories-Frames_3188743.html ( This has a simple frame for $30, however if I were buying a frame here I'd either get the lap frame for $46.95 or if money weren't a factor the Puritan frame for slightly less than $200. Most people like a stand as well, so that can add another $138. plus shipping.) It all depends on an individuals budget.

*******If you are already a quilter, you may have a large wooden hoop, or again, prices vary greatly.

Quilt hoops would also be available locally if you are near a quilt or craft store.
