Even though I've used most of these sellers, your experience with them might be quite different from mine. This is intended as a starting place for you. There are many places to find supplies. Google the basic supply and "windows shop" ;) before purchasing. Don't get in too big a hurry. Hooking a small predone kit would be a great way to decide if this craft/art is for you.

A related ebay search for hand dyed wools.  Although I've bought wool strips from many sellers my favorite is double-m sheep and wool she will cut the strips for you. Ask for the rug hooking measurement and you'll get longer strips. Or if you do wool applique, ask for that and the piece will arrive uncut and better dimensions for pieces. Christy is a peach! :)
