If a picture is worth 10,000 words, what is You Tube worth?

I'm going to post several videos that I found on You Tube. None of these were made by me, and all of them will show you someone hooking somewhere during the video.

  1. a short video of a left handed hooker
  2. A New Jersey artist
  3. A Canadian Guild video
  4. Gene Shepard ~ an expert in this art

All of the videos stress how easy this craft is to begin. If you are a visual learner, view them several times. The fourth video in particular shows the actual motions of the one and only "stitch" you need learn.

They will give you a chance to see the enormous variety available to you if you begin to hook rugs. The video by Gene Shepard will allow you to watch the actual hooking process, with explanations of fine points as he does it. He is an expert in the world of rug hooking. So without further ado...
